Bollywood Actress Preity Zinta delighted her fans today with an engaging interactive session on social media platform X. Despite her hectic schedule, she generously took the time to answer a plethora of intriguing questions from her devoted admirers. Amidst the lively exchange, Preity also offered some fascinating insights, including her favorite player from Punjab Kings (PBKS) and a charming revelation about still whipping up delicious aloo parathas for her beloved cricket franchise, Punjab.
During her engaging Twitter session, a fan inquired, “Who’s your all-time favorite player from Punjab Kings or Kings XI Punjab?” Without hesitation, Preity responded with admiration, citing Virender Sehwag as a “dangerous Veeru” and Adam Gilchrist. She praised Sehwag, who is known for his formidable presence on the field and explosive batting, while also expressing her admiration for Gilchrist, whom she found incredibly inspiring to watch.
Virendra Sehwag for being dangerous Veeru ❤️ & Adam Gilchrist. He was very inspiring to watch as a leader & player. https://t.co/SDQGP7nO80

Between 2014 and 2015, Sehwag showcased his batting brilliance, accumulating a total of 660 runs across 30 matches. Notably, his standout performance included a remarkable knock of 122 runs against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the qualifier match of the 2014 season. Meanwhile, during the period from 2011 to 2013, Gilchrist made a significant impact for Punjab, scoring a total of 849 runs in 34 games. Among these innings, he notched up one century and four half-centuries, displaying his consistency and ability to lead from the front. Under Gilchrist’s captaincy, Punjab finished 5th in 2011, 6th in both 2012 and 2013, indicating the team’s challenges in achieving higher rankings during those seasons.
Another fan asked her if she still makes potato parathas for her team. In response, Preity said it happened only once, and that too in South Africa and after that, she didn’t make anything. Preity further wrote that she is a big foodie herself. She likes to eat her favorite food. But if that doesn’t happen, she starts cooking herself. The same thing happened then too. She just asked everyone. Everyone said yes, so she made parathas with the help of the chef.
No. It was once in South Africa. I’m a big foodie & I love cooking so when I couldn’t find what I wanted to eat I decided to cook❤️ Others asked for it so I make it for everyone with the help of the hotel chefs. https://t.co/PrQP8oMawG

Once, a similar incident occurred when she laid down a condition. In 2009, during the IPL season, the team didn’t like the parathas served at a hotel. So, she set a condition in front of the team. She said that if the team won the next match, she would make parathas for everyone. The team won the match, and Preity Zinta made parathas for everyone.
