The second ODI between Australia and Pakistan is scheduled for Friday at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide.
After clinching a narrow 2-wicket victory in the series opener, Australia will be keen to secure the ODI series, while Pakistan will aim for a comeback to stay in contention. In the first match, Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins led Australia’s bowling attack, with Cummins also contributing a crucial unbeaten 32 with the bat.
The Adelaide Oval pitch is likely to provide a good balance between bat and ball. Fast bowlers may find some early movement with the new ball, but the pitch is expected to become easier to bat on as the match progresses. Spinners could also come into play, but the short boundaries and overall batting-friendly conditions will favour batters.
