In the final match of the Maharaja Trophy 2024, the Bengaluru Blasters will face off against the Mysore Warriors at the iconic M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
The Blasters secured the top position in the league stage with 15 points from 10 games, while the Warriors finished a close second with 12 points. In the semifinals, the Blasters dominated the Gulbarga Mystics, winning by 9 wickets, while the Warriors edged out the Hubli Tigers with a 9-run victory in a thrilling contest.
Bengaluru’s M. Chinnaswamy Stadium is famous for its batting-friendly pitch, which provides plenty of opportunities for high scoring. The short boundaries also boost run potential, encouraging aggressive play from batters. Although bowlers have occasionally enjoyed success here, the overall conditions largely favour the batters.
