Toronto FC have signed midfielder Deybi Flores from Hungarian side Fehervar FC on a deal though the 2025 season with an option for 2026.

The move sees Flores return to MLS for a second stint, as he was with Vancouver Whitecaps both on loan and permanently before joining CD Olimpia in Honduras in July 2018.

“We are happy to have Deybi join us for 2024 and beyond. He is a warrior in the middle of the field and will be an important piece in our evolution as a group,” Toronto general manager Jason Hernandez said in a release.

“Deybi possesses both the skill set and mentality we require at the central midfield position. We look forward to his arrival and getting to work.”

Flores has managed 35 appearances with the Honduras national team while also suiting up over 230 times at club level as a defensive midfiedler.
